Volunteer Your Time

Online Volunteer Tutor Application

Just a few hours of your time can make a tremendous difference for our organization and the people we serve. Our volunteers receive meaningful assignments, training, staff support, and recognition for their contributions. Consider these ways to volunteer your time:

  • Volunteer Literacy Tutor – Meet with a student or teach a class once a week. Training and materials provided.  (Tutor an Adult)
  • Book Drive Coordinator – Organize a book drive to collect children’s books for needy families. (Collect Children's Books)
  • Event Volunteer - Assist with fundraising and special events.
  • Children’s Book Volunteer – Sort and shelve children’s books for needy families once or twice a month.
  • Office Volunteer – Answer phones, light data entry, general office tasks. Days or evenings.
